Hi, I'm Donald Cruz.

I'm a junior at Harvard University studying social studies, and I'm the president of the Harvard Political Review.

I'm so excited to welcome all of you to our 2026 journalism camp in Shanghai.

Before you register, let me tell you just a little bit about who we are here at the HPR.

Since our founding in 1969, the HPR has been Harvard's premier political publication.

We write and publish articles on pretty much anything you can imagine, from science and technology to culture and global affairs.

We also maintain a close relationship with the Institute of Politics at the Harvard Kennedy School of Government.

Because of this relationship, we're able to highlight and interview high profile guests from around the world.

We're so excited to join you this summer, and I can't wait to meet all of you really soon. Thank you so much.
